2017 APEX access equipment show sold-out

The APEX aerial platform show in Amsterdam on 2-4 May is full, with eighty-five companies booking the entire indoor and outdoor space at the Amsterdam RAI centre. The ninth APEX promises to be one of the most successful in the event’s history.

Almost all the top manufacturers of access equipment will be present, covering a wide variety of products, including self-propelled booms and scissor lifts, vehicle mounted platforms, hoists and mast climbers, low level platforms and access towers. There will also be used equipment specialists, rental software companies and other suppliers of ancillary products and services.

Companies that have booked stand space include JLG, Manitou, Genie, Haulotte, Teupen, Skyjack, Multitel Pagliero, Holland Lift, Snorkel, Altrex, Imer, Power Towers, Oil & Steel, CTE, Bronto, Ruthmann, Time International, Riwal, Socage, Airo Tigieffe, Palfinger, Dinolift, Hinowa and Teupen.

Eight Chinese aerial platform manufacturers are also attending, which is a record for APEX and indicative of the recent growth in the Chinese aerial platform market.

The show will be held concurrently with the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) and the annual convention of the European Rental Association (ERA). Visitors to APEX have free access to the IRE.

Tony Kenter, Managing Director of show organiser Industrial Promotions International (I.P.I.), said; “It is very pleasing to have completely sold out the indoor and outside areas of APEX 2017 a full five months before the event. We are anticipating one of the most successful APEX shows ever, helped by the improved buying climate that can now be seen in Europe’s access rental industry.

“Visitors to APEX, in addition to seeing over 90 exhibitors of access equipment, will also have the benefit of free access to the adjoining International Rental Exhibition (IRE), which is also now sold out. IRE will see more than 66 brands covering compact earthmoving equipment, gensets, rental software and much more. That represents an added bonus for APEX visitors.”

The first seven APEX shows took place at the MECC in Maastricht and in 2014 it made the successful move to the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam.

APEX 2017 is organized by Industrial Promotions International BV (IPI) from Goor and is officially supported by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and by the international trade magazine Access International.
