AGCO restructures Austrian distribution network for Fendt and Valtra together with ACA, BayWa Lamag and Mauch

AGCO, Your Agriculture Company, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, is pleased to announce that the ACA GmbH, Wieselburg (Lower Austria) and the BayWa Lamag in Vorarlberg will take on the responsibility for distribution and sales starting 1 July 2016 and the Mauch GmbH & Co. KG, Burgkirchen (Upper Austria) starting immediately, both for the Fendt brand, including the full line-up of tractors, combines, forage harvesters, balers and forage harvesting machinery, and the Valtra brand.

This establishes an efficient, nation-wide Austrian dealer network for Fendt and Valtra, one which will also meet the future requirements of demanding customers. Mauch will make major investments to create distribution structures for the AGCO brands in compliance with AGCO specifications for the “Route 66” growth strategy.

The LK Tech Land und Kommunaltechnik GmbH, Linz, will remain the exclusive Fendt distributor in Upper Austria, excluding the Braunau District. The Austrian distribution network for the AGCO Massey-Ferguson brand remains unchanged under the successful management of the Austro Diesel GmbH.

Dr. Rob Smith, AGCO Senior Vice President and General Manager EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East): “Our objective is to build an exclusive, efficient nation-wide distribution network in Austria. With a broad line of cutting edge products and modern, efficient services, this new distribution structure will be better prepared to meet the future requirements of professional farmers and contractors in Austria. The expanded partnership with Mauch, the addition of products at the ACA Group and the BayWa Lamag Vorarlberg, as well as the full Fendt line-up offered at the LK Tech, are an exceptional fit for AGCO’s “Route 66” growth strategy.”
