Huddig to release the first HUDDIG TIGON machines

Three years ago, Huddig launched a concept machine, a unique full hybrid based on Tigon Technology. Since then an intensive development phase has taken place at the factory in Hudiksvall and now the first prototype will be shown, with a limited number of pre-series machines being manufactured. In connection with the Svenska Maskinmässan exhibition in Solvalla, Stockholm, the first HUDDIG TIGON machines will be released and a few customers will be given the opportunity to sing up for a HUDDIG TIGON machine and become the first in the world to own a full hybrid – will you be one of them?

Among the unique features that Tigon Technology offers is the ability to get up to 30% higher effect than diesel engines actually produces. The full hybrid technology that combines diesel and electric power, generates and regenerates energy in a way that has never been possible before for construction machinery. Tigon Technology provides higher efficiency and improved performance, which results in lower fuel consumption, greater output, higher torque, a quieter machine and a more environmentally friendly working method. The machines can be driven on electric or diesel with electric power.

In connection with the Svenska Maskinmässan exhibition Huddig will release a pre-series of HUDDIG TIGON. Two selected customers will be given the chance to order a machine each and become the first in the world to own a full hybrid machine. The customers will have an important role in evaluating and participating in the development of the future of construction machinery.

The HUDDIG TIGON backhoe loader shares many components with the proven 1260D platform. With this unique full hybrid technology, the machine is optimized for use in situations where noise levels must be low, emissions kept to a minimum, power requirements high, terrain accessibility is important and ground damage must be minimized.

The goal is that HUDDIG TIGON will be produced for the wider customer base from 2020. Visit us in our booth Ö:06 at the Svenska Maskinmässan exhibition in Solvalla, Stockholm from May 31st to June 2, 2018 and we’ll show you HUDDIG TIGON and tell you more.
