The familiy business Wimmer has been founded in 1984 by Eng. Alois Wimmer. The invention of the legendary hydraulic quick coupling sys­tem A-Lock in the year after initiated the continuos growth of the com­pany. The registered office is located today, as then, in Thalgau near Salzburg with a staff of 80 employees and a further plant in Budweis with 20 staff members.

For a good 30 years we specialized in the field of earthmoving, tun­nelling, special civil engineering, quarries, demolition and recycling. In combination with our quick coupling systems special customized packages are offered. We provide high-quality tools for almost every application of an hydraulic excavator.

A team of experienced technicians develops the equipment urgently needed by the customers with the help of high-performance construc­tion programs. The precondition of success is a high level of flexibility for customer-specific necessities.

For many years Wimmer-products are sold all over the world. The latest innovations as well as notorious products are presented on the occa­sion of different fairs. This year it will be once more the turn of the BAUMA in hall A6, stand n. 113.
