  • EXPOSIMA cancels the 2024 edition of SIMA due to a declining market and farming crisis in France and Europe.

  • The decision reflects the impact of the COVID crisis, the war in Ukraine, and fluctuations in raw material and energy prices on the agricultural sector.

  • The next SIMA aims to engage new sector partners to highlight agricultural innovation and techniques, serving as an advocate for the agricultural equipment and farming community with public authorities.

In view of today’s climate of a declining market and a farming crisis in France and Europe, EXPOSIMA has decided to cancel the 2024 edition of SIMA.

The farming environment is worsening in 2024, with forecasts of a substantial drop in the agricultural equipment market. This situation comes in the wake of the COVID crisis, the war in Ukraine, and raw material and energy price volatility.

In these circumstances, EXPOSIMA – the organiser of the trade show SIMA – taking due note of the sector’s difficulties today has taken the decision to cancel the 2024 edition of SIMA.

The next SIMA will call on new partners of the sector so as to promote the agricultural innovation and techniques that constitute the driving force of our agriculture. It will act as the voice of the agricultural equipment and farming community before the public authorities.
