Bell Equipment is the “clear” choice for one of the UK’s largest independent waste management providers

Clearwater, one of the UK’s largest independent waste management providers, has cemented its relationship with Bell Equipment with the purchase of a third customised B30E Articulated Dump Truck (ADT).

Clearwater offers treatment, recycling and disposal services to the industrial, commercial and municipal sectors across the UK. It also specialises in the hire of plant and equipment, both operated and self-drive, in the Central Scotland area. It is within this division that Clearwater’s latest B30E has been put to work.

“The performance of our two existing B30Es has been tremendous from day one, with fuel and AdBlue consumption much lower than any other ADT on the market. Because of this experience, we had no hesitation in returning to Bell Equipment when we needed to extend our fleet even further,” explains Graeme Hughes, contract manager at Clearwater.

As with Clearwater’s other two B30Es, this latest addition was customised with a specialised “waste specification”, which included Waste Greedy Boards. These boards are one metre taller than the standard design and increase the ADT’s volume by 26 percent, enabling the operator to move more waste in less time.

The back door of the ADT was also modified, being curved rather straight. This curve prevents compacted waste becoming stuck to the back door, making the deposit of waste much easier, quicker and cleaner.

Graeme continues, “As well as exceptional fuel consumption, which is of great importance to our customers, the B30E is also driver-friendly. Feedback from operators has been extremely positive, with all commenting on how comfortable and easy the ADT is to drive. Exceptional visibility has also been cited as an important feature, helping to make operating the B30E much safer.

“Overall, our experience of Bell Equipment products has exceeded all of our expectations and if we have a need to expand our operations in the future, we will definitely return to Bell and its exceptional ADTs.”
