Dinolift supplies ALC Vehicles in UK

A project which started in the beginning of 2015 has come to an closure with Dinolift, Finnish aerial work platform manufacturer, delivering ALC Vehicles with 5 customized DINO 160 XTII trailer mounted AWP´s. ALC Vehicles, based in Bicester UK, supplies the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense with different types of products they require for various tasks. “The 16m working height was one of the key requirements we started with. This was followed by number of different types of requirements for customer specific options” says Teemu Ristelä, UK Sales Manager of Dinolift. “The finished product shows what we can do when customer specifications are outside the standard options list” Ristelä adds. The product customization includes about 20 different options compared to the standard 160XTII, including for example the special paintwork, adjustable tow height, additional safety features and full LED lightning for traffic and working. “At Dinolift, we are very proud of this project and the way the whole team at Dinolift worked together from start to finish to make it happen. Seeing the machines being loaded on a truck was a happy moment”, Ristelä continues.

Central Platform Services Ltd, the Dinolift UK partner based in Pontefract, was the showroom for the product in the early stages of the project, and CPS later hosted technical product reviews as well as the initial product delivery inspection together with ALC in February, added with the LOLER inspection.

David Hincliff, Project Manager from ALC Vehicles said “The Dinolift team has been exceptionally proactive in their approach to this project, their drive and collaborative approach to solve technical issues has delivered equipment that meets the challenging high standards of the UK Army for the years to come.” “We feel privileged being offered the possibility to supply the units to ALC and MoD use and look forward for future cooperation. The team at ALC has been professional from start to finish, easy to work with and solving issues arising on the go” Ristelä adds.

One of the units will be showed at the DINO stand on Vertikal Days in June.
