More variety with rotary crop header speeds for different chopping lengths and harvesting conditions – this is what KEMPER's new multi-speed gearbox with a quick coupler offers.

It features 4 gears so that the flow of crops can always be delivered smoothly and optimally from the header to the front feed rolls of the chopper. A smooth transfer of crop forms the basis for an ideal use of the chopper and yields perfect chop quality.

Furthermore, the integrated quick coupler for the drive line facilitates fast mounting and dismounting of headers. 

The quick coupler enables automatic coupling of the header drive with the SPFH. The coupler is part of the multi-speed gearbox which also comprises a quick-locking system for the complete header. The header may be conveniently and safely locked with the aid of only one lever. The multi-speed gearbox with quick coupler for Claas forage harvesters (type 494, 496, 497) can be ordered with new KEMPER harvesting headers.
