Rottne Industri AB signs agreement with a new distributor in Russia

Rottne Industri has signed an agreement with Ferronordic Machines AB, which becomes the official distributor of Rottne forest machines in Russia. The agreement with Ferronordic enters into force in December 2016. Rottne Industri also launches forest machines specially adapted for the Russian market.

We strongly believe in long-term potential in the Russian forestry market and we are confident that Ferronordic is the right partner for us, says Rolf Andersson, CEO of Rottne Industri AB.

Rottne Industri AB has also developed a whole new series of forwarders and harvesters with Volvo Penta engines, which are specially adapted for the Russian market. The first forwarders will be available early next year, and later also harvesters and harvester heads.

Machines Ferronordic Machines are authorized Volvo Construction Equipment dealer in Russia, and the company is well established in all federal districts with nearly 70 facilities and about 750 employees.
