Sampo Rosenlew and Mahindra enter into strategic partnership for global combine harvester business

Sampo Rosenlew starts cooperation with Mahindra & Mahindra, part of the Mahindra group headquartered in Mumbai, India in order to increase its combine harvester business especially in Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Sampo Rosenlew will at the same time broaden its ownership base. Mahindra & Mahindra will acquire 35% equity stake in Sampo Rosenlew.

The two companies will work closely to expand Sampo Rosenlew’s markets worldwide, as well as  take advantage of each other’s expertise in developing  their operations and products. Sampo Rosenlew and Mahindra & Mahindra will jointly focus on developing the combine harvester business in India, China, Africa and the Middle East.

For the international markets it already operates in, Mahindra & Mahindra will also leverage Sampo’s  combine harvester product portfolio.

Sampo Rosenlew will continue in its existing core markets independently and with its current partners.
