Carer has designed and built special electric forklift trucks for the Spanish plant of a multinational, a production hub for tires suitable to any application: automobiles, trucks, construction equipment. In particular, the plant produces the largest tires in the world, used for mining vehicles. Such heavy and bulky loads require specific handling requirements, which can only be met by customized forklift trucks.

For this need Carer, a long-standing supplier of electric forklifts to the plant, has designed four specifically designed Z70/800 SPED trucks for the new production requirements. The Z70/800 SPED trucks can handle tires with diameters of about six meters, while adapting to the tight spaces of the plant. The driving position has been rationalized to meet the staff habits. The cabin is comfortable and provides maximum visibility with an easy and fast access.

Even from the recharge point of view Carer has been able to meet the specific needs of the customer, providing batteries which can be recharged into the existing spaces of the Spanish plant. The battery life allows the trucks to cope with several shifts, providing continuity to the production cycle.

The supply of the Vitoria plant confirms the attitude of Carer to meet any handling need, even the most particular or extreme, thanks to the special machines department SPED (Special Products Equipment Department).
