Visit of the Italian Traffic Ministry

Two representatives of the Ministry of Traffic in Italy visited Junkkari end January. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the operation of Junkkari company as a manufacture and make sure, that Junkkari is meeting the requirements in designing, manufacturing and quality assurance of the Italian Traffic Ministry.  Italy has more strict rules for brakes because of the  steeper hills and roads. The brakes has to be activated in case the trailer loses the contact to the tractor. The basic principles are similar to truck trailer brakes.

The evaluation visit was in connection to Junkkari P12 forest trailer, which was tested by the Ministry of Traffic in Italy  already last December. Junkkari had designed, manufactured the brake system, which fulfilled all the requirements set by the Ministry of Traffic in Italy.

By the end of the evaluation, the representatives were pleased what they had seen and told, that Junkkari had passed the requirements of the Ministry and they are sending the evaluation report to Junkkari after it is accepted and recorded by the Ministry.  The main responsibility of the successful visit were carried out by Jukka Kielinen and Juha Sippola, who were responsible of the design and manufacture of the baking device and making of all the necessary documents needed for the product and the factory operations.
