Campeche, Mexico’s All In Services recently took delivery of its first Demag® crane — an 8-axle, 600 US ton (500 t) capacity class Demag AC 500-8 all terrain crane. The integrated solutions provider in logistic services, construction, diving and inspections, as well as concrete intends to put the new powerful crane to work for its many oil and gas and renewable energy customers. The Demag AC 500-8 all terrain crane joins a fleet of 13 other crane models and is the largest in the All In Services’ fleet.
According to the All In Services management team, they decided to buy a Demag crane after analyzing the load charts of all brands and discovering that it has the best load capacities at greater heights. The Demag AC 500-8 crane’s IC-1 Plus control system is one of the reasons why it is able to lift heavier loads at great height. The system is designed to determine the crane’s lifting capacity for every position of the boom, subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure, in real time.
All In Services’ new Demag AC 500-8 crane is also the most compact model in its lifting class. The crane's main boom can be extended to 183.7 feet (56 m), and it has a maximum system length of 478.3 feet (145.8 m).
The crew operating the new Demag crane have been impressed by how easy the Demag AC 500-8 all terrain cranes is to transport, maneuver around a jobsite and rig for lifts. The new crane has quickly become a favorite for this growing company.
