International Award in Education to HİDROMEK!

HİDROMEK has been granted the award through its works in the field of education in the competition organized by European Alliance for Apprenticeship (EAfA).

Having been accepted as the first Turkish company in private sector as the member of EAfA (European Alliance for Apprenticeship) through its works within “Vocational Training Projects in Cooperation with Industrialists” since 2005, HİDROMEK represented Turkey in Europe with its works in the field of education. HİDROMEK has been awarded Vocational Education and Training Excellence Awards in the category of “Major Companies to Train Apprentices in Europe” in the competition organized by the Alliance in the week (Oct. 14-15) of Vocational Skills.

The winners of the competition were determined by the votes of the jury and the votes of the public and the winners were announced at the award ceremony held on 17 October 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. Mr. Nurettin Özdebir, President of Ankara Chamber of Industry, Mr. Mustafa Bozkurt, HİDROMEK Chairman of the Board, Mr. İlhan Varol, HİDROMEK Grader Engineering Manager and Mr. Hayri Akguş, HİDROMEK Vocational Training Manager participated in the ceremony together with the student who is continuing his vocational training at HİDROMEK.

HİDROMEK, which gives great importance to vocational training and trains its own personnel, has been giving vocational training to over 200 apprentices, and has employed 178 of them since 2005 within the works carried out under the scope of “Vocational Training Projects in Cooperation with Industrialists". This training program is implented actively and managed in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Ankara Chamber of Industry and Ankara Industrial Zone Management.
