New HEIGHT performance STEIGER ® T 400 on the horizon

RUTHMANN has provided initial information about the first of two models that the German truck-mounted aerial platform specialist will soon be adding to its successful HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® series. The STEIGER ® T 400 is scheduled to make its debut at the APEX trade show in the summer of 2014. Sales are already underway.

This new model will complement the STEIGER ® T 380 (38 m working height on a two-axle truck) and the STEIGER ® T 460 (46 m working height on a two-axle truck). The 40 m truck-mounted work platform category is becoming increasingly popular. In addition to the STEIGER ® T 460, RUTHMANN customers will now have a second model to choose from. Work platforms in the 40 m working height range are gaining in popularity with rental companies because mobile telecommunication providers are expanding their LTE transmission networks. These networks will eventually need to be maintained and serviced. In order to reach the majority of LTE towers with the greatest degree of efficiency, mobile network operators often choose truck-mounted work platforms in the 40 m working height range.

The STEIGER ® T 400 has an attractive acquisition price. This allows RUTHMANN customers to take full advantage of the optimum price/performance ratio.

The new T 400 has the same technical features as those found on the other exciting models in the HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® series.

One of the first (already sold) STEIGER ® T 400 will grace the RUTHMANN stand at the APEX trade show. This year, this all-important trade show, which runs from June 24th – 26th 2014, will be held in Amsterdam for the first time. (outside area - booth-number: 1230)
