Kverneland has finalised this unique feature: the automatic conversion of the Kv 2500 i-Plough® from transport to ploughing positions and vice versa. Easy and quick, this transport solution maximises productivity. Activate this function from the tractor cabin via an ISOBUS terminal.
Smart principle
Why spending time setting the plough for transport and then for ploughing? Why risking injuring yourself when doing so? Why not keeping these tedious operations simple and safe?
The development of the ISOBUS functions and mechanical innovations such as the Kverneland “trailer” concept for the mounted reversible plough Kv 2500 offer a unique “transport solution”: steer these operations, comfortably, from the tractor cabin.
Trailer concept
“The plough follows the tractor as a trailer follows a car. It is a very safe solution during transport. This concept needs among other innovative solutions a hinged headstock mast for no top-link uncoupling and a cross shaft abled to turn 45 degree right and left during transport” mentions Per Gunnar Kraggerud, Mechanical Designer & Electronics – Kverneland Group Klepp.
Unique feature
The all automatic transport solution relies on locking and releasing several innovations:

Record time
Only one sequence is needed to activate these functions. Just press on the icon for Transport on the ISOBUS terminal and the plough converts itself from transport to ploughing or vice versa.
For non ISOBUS tractors, Kverneland can provide ISOBUS kits so that all functions can be activated from the tractor cabin.
