Kverneland has developed a frame mounted wheel for the ISOBUS Kv 2500 i-Plough®. One can hence plough as close as possible to field boundaries, fences or any obstacles. It ensures that the ploughing output is optimized.

Easy adjustments and high productivity

Like any combi wheels available for the Kv 2500 i-Plough®, the frame mounted wheel can be adjusted from the tractor cabin from any ISOBUS terminals. The ploughing depth is hence controlled from the tractor cabin.

The new design of the Variomat bars enables the reliability of the ploughing width adjustments despite the position of the wheel. Therefore the high ploughing performance is still achieved whichever Kverneland wheels get chosen.

On the full ISOBUS i-Plough® version, activate the transport position on the ISOBUS screen and the wheel automatically converts from ploughing to transport position.

Productivity gains are measurable.

Safe transport

“The Kv 2500 i-Plough® “trailer” transport solution, also awarded at SIMA 2017, can be combined with the frame mounted wheel. The plough remains very stable despite the speed. It follows the tractor like a trailer coupled to a car. Therefore the Kv 2500 i-Plough® even with the frame mounted wheel is very safe during transport, as demonstrated with the rear combi wheel”, comments Per Gunnar Kraggerud, Mechanical Designer & Electronics – Kverneland Group Klepp.

Maximise comfort

The principle of the swivel movement of the Kverneland 2500 i-Plough® rear combi wheels is maintained for the frame mounted wheel. While turning at headlands, the wheel repositions itself in a soft movement. Less shakes reduces tiredness and makes days more performant.

Not least, placed on the second last body, this frame mounted wheel is available for any 5- and 6-furrow Kv 2500 ploughs.

Kverneland Group Klepp keeps developing innovations that makes the working life of the farming community safer and more profitable.
