New Monoshox® NX M metering unit

MONOSEM will be exhibiting on their stand at the SIMA 2015 (Hall 6 - Stand F041) a new metering unit range named Monoshox® NX M. A new 6-row pull-type frame will be available with this range.

The NX range progresses and becomes the new Monoshox® NX M range. On this version, the metering unit has certain Monoshox® NG Plus M range features. Thus, it has, as standard, the easily-removed tip, the rear press wheel unit that can be adjusted using levers and the Monoshox®.EU suspension with shock absorber. The parallelogram with quick adjusting of the pressure, developed on the NX 2 version, will be conserved on this new metering unit Monoshox® NX M.

6-row WingFold frame

In order to offer the possibility to use the planter with a low power tractor, MONOSEM developed its WingFold planter (folding pull-type planter) in a 6-row version for inter-rows of 70/75/76,2/80 cm. As on the 8-row version, this 7” frame will be equipped with NX metering units.

When in transport, the 2 outer rows can be manually folded on the front of the planter, offering a transport width of 3m (3m40 with an inter-row of 76.2/80 cm).

This pull-type frame is equipped with 2 wheel units with hydraulic lift and wide diameter wheels (235x75). As on the 8-row version, the planter has a seed spacing gearbox with gears which enables changing the seed population easily, without touching chain or sprockets.

Concerning the equipment, this frame can have, on option, a 1030L high capacity fertilizer with a FertiDriveVM variable drive. The fertilizing on the two outer rows is air-driven using the Double Function Turbofan. This planter can also have the Microsem with MicroDriveVM variable drive.

From the 1st of July 2015, the Monoshox® NX M range will replace the NX 2 range. The WingFold frame will be available in limited quantity for spring 2015.
