New STEIGER ® for the Gardemann fleet

Our long-standing customer Gardemann from Alpen is continuously investing in 2016 as well in updating its rental fleet and ordered 35 new STEIGER ® with us for the current fiscal year in order to offer its rental customers one of the most advanced platform parks in Europe. The main part of the investments relates to truck mounted aerial platforms from 17 m - 33 m working height, which are mounted on chassis of 3.5 t and 7.49 t. There are also machines for jobs at a height level up to 63 m on Gardemann’s ordering lists.

First deliveries of this package order have already begun, including for example, the STEIGER ® type T 230 and T 285 as well as three units of our 3.5t topsellers TB 270+ and HEIGHT performance-model T 380.

With the switchable 4 x 4 wheel drive, this compact and robust machine has genuine off-road capabilities and is therefore also suitable for rough terrain.

The performance data of the T 380 are excellent as well: 
38 m working height, combined with 31 m lateral outreach.

In addition, the T 380 has of course all the typical and useful HEIGHT performance properties. These are: 

• large upper boom length with movable RÜSSEL ® (jib) (working basket)

• perfectly thought out and multifunctional basket concept with max. telescopic width of 3.82 m and a load capacity of 600 kg

• and that all on a total length of only 9.72 m

Powerful and versatile, easy to handle. These features characterize our 3.5-t-top model, the STEIGER ® TB 270+.

With 27 m working height (which can be accessed even at full load stage of 230 kg), combined with a 16.4 m outreach, this professional truck-mounted working platform has performance data that until recently were possible only in the much heavier 7.49 t truck class.
