Putzmeister Pipe Technology®, a division of Putzmeister America, Inc. (Putzmeister), has partnered with an innovative new pipe supplier to introduce an exclusive line of single and dual wall induction-hardened pipe systems for use with its concrete boom pumps, and in high-rise, mining and industrial applications. The new line of pipes offers high-quality, technologically advanced products at an affordable price point.
Putzmeister America will manufacture the pipe systems, while the new supplier will provide the pipe materials. The pipe is produced in a dedicated foundry and utilizes a robotics/automated system, which translates to control of raw materials and processes ensuring a consistent, high-quality product.
“We’ve performed extensive testing on the new line of pipes and they have consistently surpassed our expectations,” said Eric Zimmermann, general manager for Putzmeister Pipe Technology. “Our engineering team has been working closely with the supplier to ensure the pipes operate seamlessly with all other Putzmeister equipment. Their focus on research and development is what really impressed us and is consistent with Putzmeister’s continuous emphasis on innovation.”
Putzmeister’s new line of pipes are designed and manufactured to stand up to the most abrasive applications and harshest weather conditions. Available in a wide range of sizes and styles, the pipe systems can be customized to meet almost any job site demand.
