Superior Displays Sticky Material Shedding Urathon® Return Roll at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014

Superior Industries, Inc., a major U.S. manufacturer of conveyor systems and their related components, displayed an alternative conveyor idler solution for controlling harmful material buildup at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014. Known as Urathon return rolls, these self-cleaning rolls are said to last three-times longer than traditional rubber disc rolls in the same application. Material buildup on idlers and pulleys is the leading cause of belt mistracking.

Superior’s Urathon return rolls are available in CEMA B, C, D and E classes and can be manufactured to accommodate belt widths up to 96-inches. A spiral version of the return rolls is available for material producers looking for extra belt cleaning. In additional to belt cleaners, the Spiral Urathon Return Rolls will work to clean the dirty side of a conveyor belt.
