Collaboration with Valtra: Continental Acquires First OE Customer for New Radial Tractor Tire

Continental and agricultural machinery manufacturer Valtra are going to be working together in the future. The A Series from the Finnish subsidiary of AGCO will be available with the Tractor70 and Tractor85 tires from October. Dealers and end customers can order the Continental tires as an option for the compact and orchard tractors. Already now, the tires are available from Valtra Unlimited Studio. The OE approval follows joint field testing by the two manufacturers. “For our Nordic customers safety, productivity and comfort on snow-covered and icy ground are critical factors in making a purchase. Furthermore, our European customers are always looking for new and advanced solutions. This fits exactly with the new range of Continental tires which provide good on-road driving comfort as well as high traction in the field due to reduced tire pressure”, comments Marko Ojalehto, Product Marketing Specialist at Valtra. HAMM – More than 35 years of oscillation: Tried and tested solutions for asphalt construction and earthwork

Over 35 years ago, HAMM became the first roller manufacturer to offer an oscillation drum for tandem rollers. These rollers have now become an integral part of the product programme. Volvo CE unveils electric compact wheel loader concept

Volvo Construction Equipment demonstrated the LX2 electric compact wheel loader at the Volvo Group Innovation Summit in Berlin. The prototype machine delivers zero emissions, significantly lower noise levels, improved efficiency and reduced operational costs.

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) unveiled its latest concept machine – known as the LX2 – to industry specialists, policymakers, the media and academics at the Volvo Group Innovation Summit on Wednesday September 12th. The electric compact wheel loader prototype delivers zero emissions, significantly lower noise levels, improved efficiency and reduced operational costs, compared to its conventional counterparts. TCM 180i: The exquisite technician

When placing dual-layer concrete on the A7, the Wirtgen paving train – comprising 2 SP 1500 slipform pavers and the TCM 180i texture curing machine – is the key player.

The A7 is being widened between Hamburg and Bordesholm from four lanes to six, and in some places to eight, to ensure that the motorway remains an efficient traffic artery. Aiming to create a pavement which would offer a high degree of driving comfort while withstanding the loads of heavy-goods traffic, the motorway consortium Via Solutions Nord and the joint venture ARGE A7 Hamburg-Bordesholm opted for steel reinforced concrete paving with an exposed aggregate concrete surface when widening the 60km stretch located in the Schleswig-Holstein region. BT Beton-Technik GmbH, commissioned with the job, have been specialized in concrete pavement construction for many years. At IAA 2018 exhibition, Hiab, part of Cargotec, is launching the upgraded JONSERED recycling crane range for heavy-duty recycling. This is a part of Hiab's long-term strategy, where Hiab bundles its expertise and offering for the Waste Management & Recycling segment. The new range of upgraded JONSERED recycling cranes will be a part of Hiab's comprehensive offering for waste and recycling applications.
