SKF will be present at BAUMA 2013, with a wide range of lubrication solutions for the construction machinery industry: from application-specific lubricating oils and greases to automatic lubrication systems.
SKF is launching advanced products and technology solutions for the construction industry. The company is focused on supporting original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in their local and global growth,
The launch introduces several new products in the range, such as the “S1S” polyurethane U-cup for heavy duty rod sealing systems and three new styles of polyurethane piston seals. SKF developed a new grade of SKF ECOPUR® polyurethane material in conjunction with the new product designs. The material was improved for seal function in heavy duty applications with high system pressure and temperature.
SKF Lincoln pump P 502 is a simple, small and compact lubricant supply pump with a 1-litre reservoir suitable for grease or oil. It can be used to provide in progressive centralized lubrication systems a maximum of two lubrication points simultaneously or 12 lubrication points progressively with lubricant.
SKF’s new Lincoln P 243 automatic lubrication pump for progressive systems with readable data memory Quickdata 2.0 is based on the well-known Quicklub pump P 203
More and more machines – whether stationary or mobile – use centralized lubrication. Centralized lubrication systems help to ensure that all lubrication points receive the exact required quantity of lubricant at the right time. If, however, a lubrication line breaks, the lack of lubrication could result in bearing damage that can be very expensive. Downtime, removal and installation of the affected parts, as well as the procurement of spare parts, cost valuable time and money. Furthermore, escaping lubricant can have a significant negative impact on the environment, and can also incur expensive clean-up and disposal costs.
