About company

JOSEPH VÖGELE AG, founded in Mannheim in 1836, is one of the oldest industrial companies in Germany. Originally involved in rail construction, the company began building roads in 1925 and developed the world's first road paver, the towed spreader, in 1929. This breakthrough paved the way for the company's expansion into an industry that later shaped its development. Since the relocation to Ludwigshafen in 2010 and the associated quadrupling of production capacity, VÖGELE has been the global market leader in its segment.
