AUSA increases capital to strengthen its international presence

• The Catalan company gives access to a family investment company from Murcia, which will be 30% shareholder.

AUSA, specialized in compact industrial vehicles, has welcomed the Gracia family from Murcia as partner of the company. The new shareholders have presence in the industrial sector; they are shareholders of Himoinsa among others and have an extensive experience in managing companies in various sectors.

This capital injection, entitling them to 30% of the group participation, will allow AUSA to increase its international presence in countries like the USA. Currently AUSA already sells in over 60 countries. The company also plans to enter new markets and to modernize industrial processes.

According to Manuel Perramon, president of the AUSA Group, the accession of the new partner allows us considerably to reinforce the export company profile, enter new countries and develop new products. This will result in growth, maintaining the family character of the company.

After the incorporation of the new shareholder, the founding families of AUSA remain the reference partners.

The AUSA Group invoiced 60 million euros in 2014 and established itself as a world leader in the production and sales of dumpers up to 10 tons and rough-terrain forklifts up to 5 tons capacity.

The company exports 80% of its sales. The evolution of the international business has resulted in earning the recognition as ´best exporting company in Europe 2014-2015´, issued last May by the European Business Awards in London.
