Bohnenkamp at bauma: New drive for earthmoving

This year sees Bohnenkamp AG, one of the leading wholesalers of tyres for commercial vehicles, showcasing for the first time its wide range of products for use on EM and construction site vehicles. Under the motto "New drive for earthmoving", the Osnabrück company is presenting innovations for EM and construction site machinery tyres on their open-air stand (F11. 1111/8). With over 200 products, the heart of the trade show is the extremely broad range of tyres from premium partners BKT, Alliance, and Windpower, as well as axles from ADR.

BKT - innovative products for dump trucks, mobiles cranes and container handlers

At the trade show, Bohnenkamp will be presenting three new products from the company BKT. One of these will be the SR 44 and SR 45 tyres for large dump trucks.

The new SR 45 radial tyre, available in 18.00 R 33 and 24.00 R 35 sizes, delivers superb traction and is particularly well suited for medium and long roundtrips. With the new AM 543, BKT offers a tyre for modern mobile cranes with a rating of F for speeds up to 80 km/h. Then there is the Container King, a tyre for container handlers (reach stackers) that features an improved rubber compound and closed tread for increased service life.

Alliance tyres for mobile excavators, wheel and farm loaders

With the 606 and 608 MPT EM tyres, Alliance fills the gaps in its product portfolio and now offers a complete range of 18 to 24 inch tyres for small and medium-sized wheel loaders, farm loaders and telescopic handlers. The extra-wide Dualmaster 506 and 528 tyres for dual-wheel mobile excavators will also have a unique feature: The spacer ring of the 22.5 inch size is omitted so that the dual tyres provide a large, unbroken contact patch. This reduces the risk of stones or other objects getting stuck between the tyres and causing damage. The 506 is designed for use on firm ground and the 528 for use on soft ground. Bohnenkamp is also presenting the Alliance Floatruck A382 truck tyre. This flotation tyre is the ideal combination for use both on and off the road. With the matching GKN rim, also available from Bohnenkamp, it is approved for speeds of up to 100 km/h.

Windpower with over 60 different tyres

Bauma will also see Bohnenkamp showcasing a selection of Windpower's extremely broad range of EM tyres. Bohnenkamp has been supplying Windpower-brand truck tyres since 2006. In 2012, the wholesaler included in its portfolio the full range of tried-and-tested EM products comprising over 60 different tyres. Windpower is a brand from the manufacturer ChemChina. The company is the fifth-largest tyre manufacturer in China, and one of the top 20 tyre manufacturers in the world. ChemChina has over six years' experience manufacturing OTR tyres. All Windpower tyres are produced under the sustainability label "Green Tyre" and in compliance with the REACH Regulation (registration, evaluation, authorisation of chemicals).

The latest generation of ADR axles

In addition to the large selection of EM tyres, Bohnenkamp will be presenting on its stand the latest generation of ADR axles. The Italian manufacturer, ADR, is one of the leading producers of high-performance axles, and their products are often used as original equipment in EM vehicles. ADR is an international company with 11 production facilities in Italy, France, England, Poland, China, Brazil, Canada and South Africa. ADR sells its products in 45 countries around the world.
