IMPACT joins forces with COMEXPOSIUM, the professional exhibition organizer from France, to bring SIMA, the world’s second largest agricultural equipment exhibition to Thailand for the first time. SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2015 will serve the needs of Thailand and ASEAN agricultural industry’s ambitions for productivity improvement and cost reduction. As part of the launch, ‘SIMA ASEAN Thailand Industry Forum’ is organized as a prelude to SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2015, which will take place on 17-19 September 2015 at Hall 1-2, IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, Bangkok. At the forum, industry experts discuss on the future trends of the agricultural industry under the topic: ‘The Innovation of Agriculture for A Better Tomorrow.’
IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. and COMEXPOSIUM Co., Ltd. signed the MOU to jointly organize SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2015 at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand. The show will feature the latest agricultural equipments from around the world aiming to serve Thailand’s and ASEAN’s growing agricultural industry. SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2015 puts knowledge, innovation, technology, and all the latest agricultural machinery and equipment in one place, to firmly position itself as a key meeting point for buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, importers, exporters, farmers, experts and anyone interested in the agricultural business. The event is scheduled for 17-19 September 2015 at Hall 1–2 of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.
According to the Office of Agricultural Economics, Thailand agricultural sector gross domestic product (GDP) in 2015, which increased by1.2% due to the output of rice, cassava, sugarcane, maize, rubber and oil palm fruit output expands by 1.5% , livestock product by 1.9% and forestry by 2.8%. The growth of agricultural businesses pushes government and private sectors forward by highlighting by the potential of agricultural development and continually emphasizing on the need for agricultural business to grow from regional to international by using key tools which will be innovation and agricultural technology.
Mr. Akkapol Senanarong, Director of Agricultural Engineering Research Institute (AERI) Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives said “The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has been working continuously to drive the development of agroindustries in Thailand; promote the production of agricultural products and food efficiency; and create value-added agricultural products in accordance with market requirements. The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives welcomes the launch of SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2015, which can be a platform of technology, information and knowledge to promote agricultural development and productivity that can maintain Thailand's position in the global market.”
