Bruce Dressel, a former president and chief executive officer of Sunbelt Rentals, has been appointed chief operating officer of Hertz Equipment Rental Corp.
“Bruce has proven experience growing businesses in the equipment rental industry, ” said Larry Silber, Hertz Equipment Rental president and CEO. “He’s a catalyst for growth, and I am confident that his experience and leadership, together with our existing team, will help us realize our growth strategy as well as drive financial performance.”
Dressel has more than 30 years in leadership and management jobs in the equipment rental industry.
Sunbelt grew from 24 to 195 locations during his tenure at that company.
After leaving Sunbelt, Dressel was chief sales officer for ADS, which provides equipment and logistics support to federal agencies, Hertz said in a news release.
He has been consulting within the equipment rental industry since 2013.
