Komatsu: industry news, company information, media

Founded in Japan in 1921, the Komatsu Group is today the second largest construction equipment manufacturer in the world. Every year the japanese Manufacturer introduces new machines to various different markets around the world.

At the beginning of last year, Komatsu presented the WA320-8, the successor of the WA320-7 wheel loader. In July 2017 followed with the WA270-8, another wheel loader development of the Japanese manufacturer. Both machines are equipped with a quick coupler for a variety of attachments, the hydrostatic drive (HST) and powerful and clean SAA6D107E-3 Stage V motor.

However, the undisputed highlight of Komatsu in 2017 was a different machine. With the PC210LCi-11 hydraulic excavator, Komatsu presents the world's first excavator with intelligent machine control, among others at the CeBit 2017 in Hanover. The machine is equipped with all the advantages of the classic PV210LC-11, but with the intelligent machine control prevents the spoon from penetrating too far beyond the target profile. The ease of use of the driver is significantly increased. It is expected that Komatsu will expand its intelligent machinery even further this year. Let's take a look at the 2018 highlights so far.
