SERVICE Expansion: Groundbreaking in Gross-Gerau – forerunners for Ingolstadt and Berlin

After the investments in Seevetal and Gescher, RUTHMANN's SERVICE has now launched its next projects.  The capacity at the site in Gross-Gerau is currently being expanding by over 40 %. Furthermore, properties have been acquired in Ingolstadt and Berlin.

End of 2014 RUTHMANN has started a million-investment program in terms of after-sales-service. Reasons for this are the increased customer demands by significant increases in sales of its own products in recent years and more work by orders from the segment "cross-brand service". Herewith RUTHMANN means maintenance and repair orders of devices from other manufacturers.
In Seevetal (near Hamburg) and in Gescher, the first projects have already been completed and thus created significant capacity expansions in 2014 and 2015. The large technical expansions naturally had a positive influence on  personnel expansion as well.

Besides the groundbreaking in Gross-Gerau, now the next project starts. The adjacent space is being used to expand the workshop hall. Thus, the currently existing seven repair stations are supplemented by three additional ones. This will create in Gross-Gerau further 40 % more capacity for maintenance and repair of working platforms.

RUTHMANN announces even more expansive plans for its service stations in Ingolstadt and Borkheide (near Berlin).  RUTHMANN cannot expand at the existing site in Ingolstadt. Therefore, they decided for a new building. RUTHMANN will build a highly-modern SERVICE station with 14 repair places in  Geisenfeld-Ilmendorf (Germanenstr.) - approximately 18 km away. 

At the existing site in Borkheide, the opposite property was purchased in the street called ‘Sandweg’. 
On this additional land, a new building is planned to expand the capacity at present. The measures initiated will optimize the RUTHMANN after-sales service which is already today market leading. SERVICE quality and quantity will be adapted corresponding to market needs.

RUTHMANN’s powerful SERVICE network includes 8 factory service stations in Germany and Austria and 11 service points (2 of them in France).  Already 25 mobile workshop vehicles are controlled by this network. All in all, more than 100 experienced and highly qualified employees belong to the SERVICE pool. With a professional education and training offer RUTHMANN is investing in the technical competence of its service personnel to further ensure the high quality standards of services. 
Through this professional SERVICE team and nationwide infrastructure RUTHMANN offers the best service of the working platform industry in Germany and Austria.

The SERVICE expansion and investment offensive shows once again that RUTHMANN customers are always and everywhere looked after competently and reliably even after the sale. With 14.4 million EUR turnover in 2015, RUTHMANN achieved in the SERVICE segment 1 million euros more than in 2014. Tendency: Still increasing.
