Strong, efficient and ergonomic: the Ammann APH 110-95

Unbeatable on flat surfaces and in trenches

The fully hydraulic APH 110-95 vibratory plate offers sensational strength combined with outstanding features that make it ideal for a vast range of different applications. High compaction performance together with compact dimensions make it equally suitable for work in trenches and on flat surfaces. And what’s more, the ACE compaction control system displays the degree of compaction in real time.

Weighing in at 795 kg and with a working width of 95 cm, the fully hydraulic APH 110-95 high-performance compactor is the most powerful machine in its category. It can be used for a range of classical applications such as earthworks, asphalting and paving as well as construction of paths, roads and railway tracks, backfilling, construction work on trenches, canals and gardens, landscaping work and foundation building. Outstanding running properties make it suitable for both trench and surface work. Above-average area results are also achievable on block paving thanks to the APH 110-95’s increased working speed. In practice, this means that in one hour the APH 110-95 – with its output of 37 m/min – achieves perfect compaction of 2,100 m2 of soil, almost equivalent to the area of three handball fields.

Convenient functions for machine operators

Ideal for users: compaction performance is displayed and measured in real time, so operators can see at a glance where the soil is already optimally compacted and where another pass is needed. This feature saves time, work effort and fuel – adding up to increased productivity. An automatic mode can be selected: this is especially useful for less experienced operators as the machine’s compaction performance is automatically adjusted downwards to guarantee optimum compaction results.

The reduced noise level and extremely low hand-arm vibrations make life easier for machine operators with no loss of performance. To ensure easy control of the powerhouse, Ammann’s engineers have designed the ergonomic guide handle with Orbitrol steering for exceptional agility and fatigue-free working. Thanks to stepless servo control for advance and reverse and an optimised baseplate, users need only apply the minimum of force to accurately guide and steer this flagship of the high-performance compaction range.

A high-tech solution for safety and productivity

The optional dead man’s handle provides additional comfort and safety for operators: customers are especially appreciative of this option for work on construction sites with limited space. When the electric sensors in the guide handle register contact by the operator, the hydraulics and therefore the exciter are activated; when the handles are released, the hydraulic system is immediately deactivated and the machine comes to a standstill after a few centimetres. The benefit: massively increased safety.

The APH 110-95 is yet another demonstration of Ammann Compaction’s ability to develop new machines that strike the ideal balance between meeting user requirements and compliance with maximum quality and safety standards.
