Table football tournament: Denninghaus wins Kögel trailer

• The team from Denninghaus GmbH & Co. KG has won the Kögel trailer.

A great "win-a-trailer" customer table football tournament was held at the Kögel IAA exhibition stand 2016. In the run up, forwarding companies signed up by making a starting fee donation to "Fahrer helfen Fahrer, e.V. – The charity funds of MAN Trucker's World". They competed in exciting and sometimes very close games for a new trailer which Kögel donated as the main prize. The awards ceremony for the three best teams was held on the same day at the Kögel exhibition stand party. The new trailer is headed for Denninghaus GmbH & Co. KG, whose employees Christian Baier and Christopher Griebenow clearly dominated the final game. Both sets went to the Denninghaus team. The runner up was the team from Seessle, which actually entered the tournament as the favourite following the preliminary games.

Each of the 16 participating teams were able to strut their stuff in a total of six preliminary games under the supervision of two professional table football referees. It quickly became clear that the forwarding company employees were more than just occasional players. The handles of the kicker table, for example, were treated against slippage and the rods polished. The four best teams then entered the semi-finals and the elimination rounds began. In the third place play-off and final round, it was then decided who would win the Kögel "win-a-trailer" customer table football tournament.

The third-place winners, the team from Ansorge Logistik, won a bungee jump in addition to bronze medals and a trophy. The second place, and thus the silver medals with trophy and a tandem parachute jump for each, went to the team from Metallschleiferei Seessle. The first-place team was awarded a gift certificate for a new Kögel trailer in addition to gold medals and a trophy.
