Corporate sponsorship is part of continuing commitment to advance the game of golf
The Toro Company is now an official corporate sponsor of 59club, a company that offers analysis, benchmarking, training and management tools to help golf courses enhance their operations. The new partnership is part of Toro’s ongoing efforts to support golf courses and their players beyond the traditional role of a manufacturer of turf and irrigation products.
“Delivering a quality golf experience depends on much more than well-maintained turf,” explains Andy Brown, senior sales manager at Toro. “That’s why we continue to partner with leading organizations, like 59club, that offer proven resources to help golf courses improve other aspects of their business. We look forward to working with 59club to help advance the game on a larger scale.”
The 59club measures a venue’s ability to create a quality customer experience based on the facilities and services offered. The detailed analysis incorporates all areas both on and off the course, from the booking process and course conditions to the food and beverage customer experience, providing club managers and owners with feedback to help them make informed decisions.
As a corporate sponsor, Toro will also support 59club’s annual Sales and Service Excellence Awards. The next awards ceremony will take place in February 2017, recognizing the highest-achieving golf venues across all business elements, including sales, service, operations, retail and management. Designed to honor those who are committed to improving industry standards, the awards inspire course managers to consider measures they can take in order to excel.
“As more clubs gain access to our training and management tools, Toro’s expertise will serve to benefit everyone involved as we work together to improve the overall customer experience in golf,” added Simon Wordsworth, CEO of 59club.
