Metso to deliver four FIT Crushing Stations in the Americas

• Metso to supply four FIT™ Crushing Stations to locations in the Americas, with three destined for a Brazilian iron ore mine and one for a Canadian gold plant, totaling approximately EUR 20 million in combined value.

• The orders for the Brazilian iron ore mine are recorded in Metso's Minerals segment for the fourth quarter of 2023.

• Since its launch in 2020, Metso has sold 24 FIT™ Stations globally, catering to various mining applications including gold, iron ore, graphite, lithium, copper, and slag.

• Erwin Huber, VP at Metso, emphasizes the FIT™ Station's more than 30% reduction in implementation time compared to similar mining crushing and screening plants, attributing this to its modular design and quick installation capabilities.

• The FIT™ Station offers a range of configurations for different mining applications, with capacities from 200 to 4,000 tons per hour, as highlighted by Metso Product Manager Daniel Nagano.

• The FIT™ Station's modular design includes Primary Gyratory Stations, Jaw Stations, Cone Crushers Stations, Screening Stations, and Recrushing Stations, allowing for flexibility in equipment configurations.

• Additional modular components such as FIT Conveyors and Ore Sorting Modules can be integrated into the FIT™ Station to further tailor the solution to specific mining applications.

Metso will supply four FIT™ Crushing Stations in the Americas. Three of the crushing stations will be delivered to an iron ore mine in Brazil and one to a gold plant in Canada. The combined value of the orders is approximately EUR 20 million. The Brazilian orders are booked in Metso’s Minerals segment 2023 fourth-quarter order intake.

The game-changing crushing and screening solution was launched in 2020. Since then, Metso has sold 24 FIT™ Stations around the world for applications ranging from gold, iron ore, graphite, lithium, and copper to slag.

The FIT™ Station is focused on flexibility and speed for quick installation with Primary Gyratory Stations, Jaw Stations, Cone Crushers Stations, Screening Stations and Recrushing Stations.
