The winter issue is also the first issue of 2023, which consists of two big topics: lifting & access and material handling. We prepared insightful analyses in cooperation with experts from both industries. The first one discusses environmentally-friendly approaches to material handling by comparing aspects of battery-powered machines and machines equipped with combustion engines. The second analysis deals with crane construction of the future, especially with possible requirements and developments. In addition, we bring you two exclusive interviews: The first was conducted with the American software specialist Linarc and the other explores the upcoming edition of the SaMoTer 2023 trade fair, which will take place in Verona in April. Last but not least, LECTURA has recently launched a new project called Start-Up Stage 2023. We will continuously introduce ambitious start-up companies from the heavy machinery industry. The first two companies to be revealed in this issue are Fabeo (SWE) and Craftcloud (GER). Check out their stories!
