About company
BENNINGHOVEN was founded in 1909 by Otto Benninghoven in Hilden, near Düsseldorf, Germany, as a machine factory for the production of gearwheels. In the difficult post-war period, the company established itself in addition to gear production with the manufacture of gearboxes, especially for the automotive industry. Groundbreaking technologies and highly qualified personnel are at the core of the BENNINGHOVEN Group's activities. Milestones such as the hot gas generator recycling technology, the integration into the Wirtgen Group and the move to the world's most modern plant for the production of asphalt mixing plants in 2018 have shaped the company's development and consolidated its leading role in the field of asphalt mixing plants.

In many cases, retrofitting an existing asphalt mixing plant can be an economical alternative to constructing a new plant. By replacing outdated components and integrating new, advanced technological developments, existing plants can be brought up to date. This modernization leads to increased productivity and efficiency of the plant, which is a great advantage for the plant owner.
