Van der Vlist recently arranged transportation of 574T steel structures from Belgium to Malta. Some urgent deliveries were transported by road while the majority was shipped to Malta. In Malta the cargo was directly loaded on trucks to reduce the risk of damage when transshipping. By offering this well planned, multimodal solution, the logistics cost were reduced significantly.
