Closing Gaps: Demag® AC 250-5 All-Terrain Crane Rounds Out Jaromin Fleet

Oberhausen-based crane service provider Jaromin’s fondness for Demag and Terex cranes from Zweibrücken could not be more obvious. After all, with its recent acquisition of a Demag® AC 250-5 all terrain crane, Jaromin has expanded its contingent of cranes from this manufacturer to a total of five.

An avowed Demag fan, General Manager Olaf Jaromin definitely did not want to pass up on the opportunity to once again pick up his new crane in person in Wallerscheid together with his wife Melanie and, while there, take a look at the brand-new Demag AC 300-6. The AC 250-5 was handed over by Terex Cranes Sales Manager Helge Prüfer and Senior Sales Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland Christian Kassner.

“Thanks to its compact design and its 70-meter-long boom, the Demag AC 250-5 is an extremely versatile machine. With it, we’re not only closing a gap in our fleet, but we’re also becoming more cost-effective for our customers and, accordingly, even more competitive,” Olaf Jaromin says while explaining the reason behind his purchase decision. The IC-1 Plus control system, which enables the crane to be safely operated with the outriggers extended in an asymmetrical configuration, is another characteristic that enhances the Demag AC 250-5 crane’s versatility. The AC 250-5 crane was able to put its advantages on display shortly after the handover when making its debut at a substation close to Essen.
