Transportes Crexell S.A., the leading service company in Argentina’s oil sector, took delivery of a new Demag® AC 100-4L all terrain crane a few months ago and a new Demag AC 250-5 all terrain crane this February. The additional units join a fleet of more than 15 other Terex® and Demag crane models that will help Crexell be even more responsive to the needs of its customers.

Grúas San Blas SA Argentina, a distributor of Terex and Demag products, was on hand for the delivery of the new all terrain cranes. “It’s exciting to see the first Demag AC 250-5 crane in Argentina get delivered and put to work,” the company’s staff says. “It’s a versatile crane that Crexell will get many years of service from. Also, the smaller Demag AC 100-4L model is quick to rig and easy to transport; two qualities that will help the company be more efficient and profitable on job sites.”

Crexell provides crane services employing all types, including all terrain, rough terrain, lattice boom, and truck mounted cranes with lift capacity classifications ranging from 20 to 500 tonnes. The powerful 5-axle Demag AC 250-5 unit is at the top of Crexell’s crane fleet with an impressive load chart, a main boom length of 70 m and a maximum system length of 102 m. The smaller 100 tonne capacity class AC 100-4L crane has the largest operating range of any all terrain crane in its class with a maximum system length of 81.6 m.

“Industry leading flexibility and outstanding support from our distributor, Gruas San Blas, made purchasing these new Demag cranes an easy decision,” says Nicolas Crexell, president of Crexell. “We’re looking forward to working these machines hard for many years to come and know the Gruas San Blas team with several branches located throughout the country will be there to support our crews along the way.”
