Dozen it look good for Bell as Raymond Brown orders another wheeled loader

With its latest purchase of a Bell L2016E Wheeled Loader from Bell Equipment UK, the Raymond Brown Group is now one of the largest operators of the model in the UK.

The new Loader joins two fellow L2106Es at Raymond Brown’s Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) processing facility in Ardley, where they are working in partnership with Viridor to deal with waste from the Oxfordshire region together on site at the EfW (Energy from Waste).

It is the 12th such Loader purchased by the firm since the beginning of 2012. The key to its popularity is the machine’s versatility, which suits Raymond Brown, given the wide variety of its operations, thus requiring equipment that can work across different applications.

Bell achieves this by offering the highest “as standard” specification in the industry and one machine has been fitted with Bell Equipment’s advanced fleet management system, Fleetm@tic, which is used by Raymond Brown to monitor the performance of its Bell fleet.

One of the key features of Bell Wheeled Loaders prized by Raymond Brown is its QuadCool technology, which is proven to combat the risk of dust build-up – a key challenge in recycling environments. QuadCool therefore helps to prevent the engine from overheating, reduce downtime and significantly reduce the frequency of cleaning routines.

To further meet the rigorous demands of recycling operations, the L2106E is fitted with L5 tyres and quick hitch standard general purpose buckets – a high tip bucket (to provide the ability to load high hoppers) and a pallet fork attachment.

Prior to its arrival at Ardley, the Loader made a guest appearance at the celebrations to honour Raymond Brown group chairman, Ron Isaac’s 50th year of service, and also appeared in Raymond Brown livery at the Hillhead Show, reinforcing the excellent relationship with Bell Equipment.

“The Bell L2016E has proven its capabilities again and again for us across a number of quarrying and recycling applications, so we’re proud of our association with this reliable, versatile Loader,” explains Nick Moth, plant director at Raymond Brown.

Nick Learoyd, managing director of Bell Equipment UK, said: “The proof of a successful machine often lies in the amount of repeat business it can generate from customers who have seen first-hand how well it performs. We’re therefore understandably delighted that Raymond Brown continues to have such resounding faith in our Bell L2106E Wheeled Loader.”
