ERA celebrates first ever European Rental Week

• The first European Rental Week, organized by ERA, is taking place from 9 to 15 October.

• The week aims to promote the equipment rental industry, raise awareness of the rental concept, and highlight rental as a sustainable, cost-effective, and resource-efficient solution.

• This year's theme is 'Investing in People', focusing on the opportunities, careers, development, and training provided by the industry for people from all backgrounds.

• Michel Petitjean, Secretary General of ERA, expressed excitement about the initiative and thanked the members of the National Association and Promotion Committees for their contributions.

• A webinar titled 'Building the Future' is scheduled for 11 October, presenting the 2023 ERA Market Report and discussing the key role of people in the industry.

• ERA is running a social media competition for rental company employees to share why they enjoy working in the industry, with the winner receiving a trip to Lisbon in May 2024.

• ERA is also promoting careers in the rental industry through video testimonials and a 'Reasons to Work in Rental' poster.

The very first European Rental Week begins today and ERA will be celebrating the equipment rental ‎industry throughout the week, which lasts from 9 to 15 October.‎

Rental companies and associations across Europe will also be promoting the industry during the ‎week to improve the attractiveness of the industry, raise awareness of the rental concept and ‎promote rental as a sustainable, cost-effective and resource-efficient solution. This year, in line with ‎the theme of ‘Investing in People’, the industry will be promoting the opportunities, careers, ‎development and training that the industry provides for people from all backgrounds.‎
