Looking ahead to LogiMAT 2015

Dambach Lagersysteme will be presenting a rail-guided stacker crane with a shuttle acting as pallet-handling unit. The shuttle is designed for multi-deep storage and multi-shuttle systems. Power caps – and not trailing or festoon cables or batteries – provide the energy for each shuttle. Thanks to their extremely short recharging times, power caps enable 24-hour operation without reducing throughput. Charging takes place on the stacker crane when moving the shuttle from one aisle to another. The shuttle uses 400 V technology, which ensures an especially high power density for loads of up to 1500 kg. At the same time, 400 V technology results in a compact design and a high degree of efficiency to reduce energy consumption.

To demonstrate the system, materials-handling elements from the Dambach pallet-handling range will be on show. These, too, are suitable for loads of up to 1500 kg. They are based on a consistent modular system that allows really flexible usage. Dambach pallet-handling technology is robust yet highly efficient in terms of throughput. Specially synchronised interface elements are available for linking aprons to rail-guided stacker cranes. Special attention has been given to easy servicing.
