RUTHMANN posts record sales for 2013

RUTHMANN – the well-known German aerial work platform and special transport manufacturer – has just had another amazing year.  In 2013, the RUTHMANN group of companies managed to crack the 100 million EURO mark for the very first time and racked up an unprecedented 104 million EUROS in total sales.

The positive sales figures can be attributed to excellent after-sales service, increased marketing of used equipment, and highly successful innovation campaign. All new products offer outstanding customer benefits and an optimum price/performance ratio. This has led to a dramatic surge in demand. RUTHMANN's entire HEIGHT performance-series and innovative STEIGER ® TBR 220 * contributed greatly to RUTHMANN’s historic turnover in 2013.

Many orders came from the core German market, but RUTHMANN was also very successful in its export division. Results were particularly good in France.  In 2013, RUTHMANN also managed to tap into completely new markets. The first work platforms in the HEIGHT performance-series were successfully delivered to Australia. RUTHMAN now also has its sights set on the North American market.  Since September 2013, RUTHMANN's work platforms in North America have been marketed by TIME – the leading American truck-mounted aerial work platform manufacturer.

Prospects for 2014: RUTHMANN expects business to remain strong for the remainder of the year.
