Environmental and climatic protection as well as the conservation of natural resources have always been important issues for AMF-Bruns. That is why we pay great attention to the environmental aspects of every process in our company.
Of course, this includes our employees, who are called to use energy responsibly in their immediate working sphere, but also that we continuously monitor and improve every energy-consuming process in our company.
In order to pursue this path even more systematically in future, AMF-Bruns has introduced a certified energy management system (EnMS) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. After a successful audit by ZDH-ZERT GmbH, the corresponding certificate was handed over on the 21st of January 2015.
“Thanks to the certification procedure, we are now able to anchor the subject of energy efficiency even more firmly in our company processes”, says Willem Hilbrands, Energy Management Officer at AMF-Bruns. “In future, the annual audits will help us to continuously improve our standards in this field”, he adds.
To ensure that sustainability becomes an integral part of our corporate culture, AMF-Bruns also encourages employees to make active environmental contributions in their daily work, and come up with new ideas to make the processes at AMF-Bruns even more resource-conserving – for a liveable future in an intact environment.
