Leading automation specialist, Swisslog, will be presenting in four seminars at the upcoming ProMat 2015 exhibition.
ProMat 2015, held March 23-26, 2015 at Chicago’s McCormick Place South, is the largest expo for manufacturing and supply chain professionals in North America and provides attendees access to the latest material handling and logistics equipment and technologies.
In addition to introductions to some of the latest thinking in solutions for cold storage environments, e-commerce and case picking, the company will also showcase its expertise in software and integrated system design.
“We are delighted to be at ProMat,” says Swisslog Director of Business Development & Marketing, Bill Leber. “Automation has captured the imagination of the market globally and as a leader in our industry, we find the fast pace of change makes it difficult to keep everyone fully informed about the latest developments. Opportunities like ProMat, are fantastic ways of delivering our message.”
Swisslog is proud of its successes to date, particularly in the temperature controlled storage, e-commerce and pharmaceutical industries. A number of recent projects and installations have broken new ground in the E-Commerce fulfillment industry as well as improved efficiencies in existing via goods-to-person handling systems.
But Swisslog not only has an excellent range of solutions for materials handling requirements, it also has considerable expertise in the planning and implementation of entire distribution centers including architecture and construction aspects, all aimed at ensuring the complete facility is efficiently organized and optimally utilized.
“At Swisslog we have a straightforward approach to what can be seen as a complex issue,” adds Markus Schmidt, Senior Vice President. “We eliminate risk and inefficiencies for customers when delivering new or adapted automated warehouse solutions. It takes the type of face-to-face opportunities that shows like ProMat offers to really communicate this in more definitive terms.”
Schmidt believes the exhibition provides the perfect platform for Swisslog’s state-of-the-art products, while enhancing brand awareness with both existing and potential customers; “These are ideal surroundings for us to demonstrate to our users how we deploy our products and services to enable their operation to paradigm shift into the future. We work under the motto ‘Design, Develop, Deliver’ and events like these are very useful to get a real understanding of the qualities our customers want in their logistics systems. The overall goal is the continued success of both our customers business and ours.”
