Terex Trucks’ dealer TDL Equipment will bring the company’s upgraded TA300 articulated hauler to PlantWorx, the UK’s biggest show for the construction equipment industry.
TDL Equipment will proudly exhibit Terex Trucks’ upgraded TA300 articulated hauler at their H29 stand at PlantWorx, the biennial show for the construction equipment industry in Peterborough from June 11th to 13th. TDL Equipment is Terex Trucks’ UK dealer, the company has been selling and supporting Terex Trucks’ haulers since 2000.
Investment in quality
“The upgraded TA300 delivers improved productivity, performance and a 5% increase in fuel efficiency,” says Andrew Taylor, Dealer Principal at TDL Equipment. “Over the last few years, Terex Trucks has invested an incredible amount of time and effort into further improving the quality of their haulers. The result is the upgraded TA300, which is an enhanced, productive, high-quality machine.”
“Terex Trucks draws on almost 70 years of expertise to create robust, durable articulated haulers that maximize productivity and return on investment for our customers,” says Paul Douglas, Managing Director of Terex Trucks. “We are proud of our strong hauling heritage and the significant recent investments and improvements we’ve made in our product line. We are continuing to invest in our products, people and processes to ensure our TA300 and TA400 support our customers in the toughest applications – the upgraded TA300 is just one example of this.”
Maximum productivity
The TA300 has recently been updated with a new transmission, leading to improvements in fuel efficiency, performance, productivity and operator comfort, when compared to the previous model working in the same application. The 28-tonne (30-ton) workhorse now comes with eight forward gears as well as four reverse gears, to help ensure smoother gear shifting and thereby higher levels of operator comfort. In addition to this, the hauler’s maximum speed has increased to 55 km/h (34 mph), up from 50 km/h (31 mph). As a result, customers can achieve faster cycle times and lower cost per tonne.
The TA300 is also equipped with true independent front suspension as standard, further enhancing operator comfort and enabling excellent traction control and maximum productivity in the most challenging conditions.
