Trelleborg tires, a global leader in agricultural tires, used Agritechnica 2023 to unveil its newest and most sustainable product, the TM1 ECO POWER tire, and a broad range of innovative tire solutions designed to further boost sustainability in agriculture. Gianluca Abbati made the TM1 ECO POWER tire debut live. The Vice President Technology & Innovation thus set the stage for a new era of tire technology with Trelleborg’s new and most sustainable tire. According to Gianluca Abbati, “Performance comparison tests against premium agricultural tires show that the TM1 ECO POWER has up to 47% lower rolling resistance, with up to 3% savings in fuel and battery consumption on electric tractors. The innovative tire design and its self-cleaning properties have proven to provide 26% greater traction on hard soil and 12% extra operator comfort.”.

Tire technologies of today for farming of tomorrow

Abbati also introduced the latest updates on the Trelleborg ATMS (Adaptive Tire Management System) which helps customers achieve more sustainable operations with advanced technology. As the agricultural sector is evolving rapidly, passing such technology into farmer’s hands is just one way how Trelleborg tires supports professionals in their daily business. Thanks to ATMS, farmers receive real-time tire data for ultimate tractor performance through tire-mounted sensors that bring smart farming to everyday operations. The ATMS detects the tire’s working conditions including each tire's dynamic load, pressure, and temperature. While working, the farmer is constantly informed on how to fully optimise the tractor configuration in each operation through the most appropriate tire inflation pressure. This allows to optimise the footprint and reduce soil compaction. In addition, the correct tractor ballast and implement set-up improves drivability on the road with greater traction and lower rolling resistance.

New Premium Care Programme

As Trelleborg tires is committed to offer more than just advanced tires, but a complete Trelleborg experience to its customers, Elio Bartoli, President EMEA & Global OEM, announced the launch of the new Trelleborg Premium Care programme in Europe. This programme offers farmers a new level of support, expertise and care, including an extended warranty on Trelleborg tires which allows farmers to enhance performance and further extend the lifespan of their Trelleborg tires.

HF1000 – next generation implement tire

The latest HF1000 is Trelleborg’s next generation implement tire, especially engineered for handling larger load capacities on large forage wagons and slurry tankers. It comes with an innovative tread pattern ensuring a wider footprint and efficient self-cleaning whilst delivering minimal soil compaction and maximum efficiency even for the most demanding applications. With its VF casing and steel belted structure, this tire ensures long durability and superior performance both in the field and on the road.

High versatility for off-road trucks: MPT100

Particularly developed for daily challenges in municipality and transport applications, the MPT100 has proven to be a highly versatile and high-performance tire for multi-purpose off-road trucks.
