Väderstad wins gold in Norway

Yesterday we were informed that Väderstad has received a gold award out of 107 submitted proposals for our innovation SeedEye. We are of course very pleased with this accolade, which will be reported in the press and feature at the Agroteknikk exhibition in Lillestrøm, Norway that opens on 26 November.

This year we have recorded very good sales in Norway and this autumn, prior to the Agroteknikk exhibition, we submitted an application for our new SeedEye. Naturally, we hoped it would be of interest.

Norwegian farmers show a very keen interest in technology and Felleskjøpet, which sells John Deere machines, sells about 80 percent of the larger tractors “fully equipped” with GPS and ISOBUS equipment.

Väderstad has always had good business relations with Felleskjøpet, one of Väderstad's first importers, and our partnership stretches back to 1974.
