A symbol of quality: Autokran Wissel puts Terex® Explorer 5600 All terrain crane into operation

Aschaffenburg-based Autokran Wissel is in the process of upgrading its fleet, with the focus naturally being on quality and reliability. “That’s what made us choose the Terex® Explorer 5600 when we had to get a new all terrain crane. The Explorer has a compact design and great maneuverability, which makes it perfect for our needs,” says company owner Bernhard Wissel while explaining his decision.

The crane’s versatility also played an important role in the new owner’s choice. After all, the Bavarian company has been carrying out lift operations of all kinds for over 50 years: “From pianos to bridges,” as Wissel succinctly puts it. Together with crane operator Klaus Kliesch, he picked up the crane in person at the Zweibrücken plant, where Terex Cranes Sales Manager Michael Ziegler took care of the handover. The Explorer 5600 crane has already completed its first project, as it was used as an assist crane during the erection of a tower crane on the very first day after the handover.
