Agritechnica 2015

The world’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition will take place again this year at the Agritechnica in Hanover. From 8 to 14 November 2,750 registered exhibitors from 49 different countries will participate in the fair in the great West German provincial town, attracting some 450,000 visitors from 90 different countries. It has dethroned its biggest rival – the Sima show in Paris – as the most important agricultural fair in Europe. Especially the interest from abroad has seen a significant growth. The number of foreign exhibitors this year amounted to 54 percent, compared to a decade ago when it just exceeded 33 percentage points. The Netherland is the second largest supplier of exhibitors (112 enterprises), after Italy.

One of the priorities during the 2015 edition is ‘smart farming’. The focus is clearly on high tech during the event. The Agritechnica starts on November 8 and 9 with two exclusive preview days, followed by four ‘regular’ trading days from November 10 to 14. The presence of GIANT at Agritechnica is an excellent opportunity to share the latest developments in the market and gauge the reactions!
